Planning for a new kitchen or bathroom can be an overwhelming experience. At Bay Kitchen Gallery Ltd. in Belleville, we want to assist you along every step of the way, providing the necessary information to help you make the right decisions. Here are some steps you can take toward making your project a success!
We invite you to browse through our website and take advantage of the various links to view our suppliers’ information and products. Look through kitchen design magazines and highlight the design details that appeal to you! Jot down any questions you may have, plus a list of items you might like to see included in your kitchen design.
Visit our showroom and take the opportunity to meet and ask questions of our staff, as well as walk through our display kitchen models where you will receive an overview of the variety of products, design, colour and accessory options available to you.
In order to design a project specifically for you and your family, we will need to learn more about your needs and wishes. We will then make a list of some of those items and incorporate them into your design plan. If you have prepared a list in advance, we will be glad to address those options with you. If possible, please bring in the preliminary measurements of your space, as well as appliance dimensions, along with make and model number. If you have a cost figure in mind, that will assist us in providing you with the best product and design to suit your budget.
There are five areas that need to be addressed in order to design a project specifically for you and your family. These include:
We can now begin to make preliminary choices for your cabinetry selections, as well as your choice of countertop. Our designer will then schedule a visit to your home to determine site measurements and your personal decorating style choices. Our goal is to find out what currently works well for you and also address the changes you wish to make, in order to create the best design layout for your project.
Our designer will complete your initial floor plan and present you with computerized diagrams and a preliminary quote for the project. At this point, you will meet with the designer to work through and adjust design details and budgeting issues to ensure the project meets your requirements.
Once you are satisfied with the overall project plan we will ask you to sign a contract and provide a 60% deposit towards your purchase. Your order will be placed with our supplier and within a week you will be notified of the anticipated delivery date.
The remainder of the payment will be split into two payments, with an additional 35% due upon delivery of the cabinets to your location. The remaining 5% balance of your payment will be due upon project completion. Any additions/changes to the contract will be addressed upon completion as well. Warranty or service items will be addressed once we have received final payment. If your project has unforeseen delays from your end, we may be required to charge you $200 per month for storage of your cabinetry in our warehouse.
