Low-Maintenance, Resilient Countertops

Solid surface countertops can enhance the look of any kitchen, bathroom or work surface. Solid surface is a seamless non-porous impermeable product, resistant to stains and easy to clean. Integrated sinks can be incorporated into the countertop to create a smooth, one-piece unit that helps reduce moisture, dirt and bacteria buildup, typical around traditional sink edges.

Versatile, Durable Countertops

Solid surface is uniform, with the colour and pattern running through the thickness of the material. It is durable and easy to maintain under the heaviest of usage conditions as it resists chipping, cracking and shattering. Solid surface is one of the most hygienic surface materials available and will not promote the growth of mildew or bacteria.

When designing with solid surface, any shape or size is possible due to the seaming process (epoxy/liquid weld) done either in the shop or on-site. Products are 100% acrylic or a polyester and acrylic blend with design options for different colour edge bands or inlays.

Care and Maintenance

Simple routine care will help to keep your solid surface countertop looking new and fresh. No specialty cleaners are required, simply use soap and water or an ammonia-based cleaner to remove dirt and even most stains. Minor damage, including scratches, stains, and burns can be repaired with an abrasive cleanser or light sanding.

Although solid surface is very resistant to heat, it can be damaged if hot pots or heat-generating appliances are placed directly on countertop. Always use a hot plate or a trivet. You should also avoid exposing the surface to strong chemicals such as paint removers and oven cleaners. If these chemicals do come in contact with the surface, quickly flush with water. Remove nail polish with a non-acetone based nail polish remover.
